Profit improvement initiatives

In order to maximize the profitability of your business, you need to identify and regularly look at the factors that drive profitability.  Without a dashboard, you don’t know how fast you’re driving, how long before you run out of gas, and if there are any problems that should be brought to your attention before they become a disaster.  We develop and maintain KPI dashboards for your business, and provide specific recommendations to improve the KPI metrics of your business. How would you like us to help you increase your business profitability?

Financial Review

Financial statements tell you after the fact whether your business is growing, shrinking, profitable, or a cash drain. By themselves, financial statements typically don't get at the "why".  KPI include operational as well as financial metrics that measure the success of your business. KPI give you a real-time dashboard, and point the way to what will add more value to your business.   If you borrow money, lenders will often require compliance with certain financial covenants. We can help you figure out if you have the processes in place to meet these covenants, how to track these and forecast to stay in compliance, and negotiate better covenants.

Due diligence

Due diligence

When considering buying a business, or valuing your own business before selling or bringing in outside capital, you need an objective third party for due diligence. If you are buying a competitor, you want someone to look 'under the hood' to understand the seller's KPI. Are they solid, justifying a full price, or are there real weaknesses? Which of those weaknesses are metrics that you can readily address post-closing, and add more value to your business?
